Vacuum casting is the best choice for making soft rubber parts. The softness is adjustable. In this case, we made three comb prototypes for our clients.

Machining methods
Plastic parts: vacuum casting based on CNC machined models. The color was painted after demolding.
Rubber parts (the comb teeth): vacuum casting based on 3D printed models. The color was added to the liquid raw material.

Surface treatments
Glossy painting, UV coating, laser carving (the logo).
